No one is permitted in the pit area without purchasing a pit pass. The purchase of a pit pass assures your signature for verification of insurance protection.
All persons, age 15 & under, must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian over age 21, and have a waiver release form signed by that adult.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the pits during races. Track officials have the right to question anyone acting in an abnormal manner as the result of alcohol consumption or drug use. Anyone confirmed of such abuse will be immediately disqualified from the day's events and possibly lose points, depending on the severity of the situation.
Anyone injured while at the track must report the injury immediately to proper personnel. If severe, contact ambulance crew immediately. If the injury appears to be minor, it still must be reported as it may have the potential to develop more serious problems in the future.

Profane language, harmful threats, fist fighting, etc., between competitors in the pits or to track personnel WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! This is a family sport and will remain that way. A race may be stopped at any time if the flagman or officials contemplate danger or unsafe conditions.
Full face crash helmets (Snell 95 or 2000 approved) and neck collars or braces are mandatory for all races. All drivers are required to wear a HEAVY, long sleeve jacket and ankle length trousers, or an approved racing suit. ALL drivers must wear gloves, and footwear must provide ankle support.
Anyone requesting a change in classes MUST have some proof of age to show at the registration window to eliminate confusion and loss of time. Such requests should be given at the beginning of the season to avoid loss of points. Class change can ONLY move upward. Once you advance, you may NOT move back down
A race will be counted as complete once all heats are finished; feature points will be awarded per finish order of heat.
ON THE TRACK RULES:
Rough driving will not be tolerated. First offense for rough driving will be a warning and a position at the end of the field. A second offense for rough driving will result in the driver receiving the black flag and the loss of all points for that event.
Any driver involved in three cautions will be given the black flag.
The flagman will control the start of the race as conditions of track permit. If your race car experiences a problem at the grid, prior to the green flag, you will be given three laps to get on the track. The race car will be removed from the event if unsuccessful.
No laps will be given for change or repair of flat tires.
When the yellow flag is displayed, slow down immediately. DO NOT wait until you cross the finish line to decrease speed.
All starts and re-starts will be coming off TURN FOUR. A white chalk line will signify the start and finish line. On all single file restarts all cars must pass to the outside of the cone on the front stretch in single-file, nose-to-tail order. Any driver going to the inside of the cone or touching the cone, will be penalized two positions at the next restart or at the end of the race in the event no restart occurs.
Participants of a race involved in jumping (passing of another Micro Sprint(s) in front of you before the green light is displayed) will receive a first offense WARNING, but remain in line. The second offense will result in a rear of the field position. The third offense will result in disqualification.
Heat race line-ups will be determined by drawing a number for starting position. Features will be the order in which you finished the heat event.
Heat races will consist of 10 laps. If 5 Micros or less, heat races will be 8 laps. Features will consist of 20 laps. If 5 Micros or less, features will be 15 laps. Consolation events will consist of 6 laps.
FLAG SIGNALS:
Green: Race starts — All is clear
Yellow: Slow down, proceed with caution but be prepared to stop. Stay in position, DO NOT PASS!
Red: STOP IMMEDIATELY!! Once the reason for the red flag is resolved, all karts will be realigned and re-started.
Blue with yellow: You are about to be lapped. Hold your position until passed, then drive to the low or high side of track.
Black: Signal for driver to leave the track.
White: One lap remains in the event.
Checkered: Race is complete. Exit the track and proceed to the scales.
MICRO SPRINT RULES:
All cars should be constructed to look like Micro Sprints. All cars must be equipped with complete body parts: hood, tail, side panels, belly pan, etc.
All cars must have legible numbers at the discretion of the scorers. No reflective numbers. Numbers must be printed on both sides of tail and wing at all times. Numbers on the top wing must be 12" by 2" width. Any letters must be 6" by 1" width. Numbers of the nose panel must be 6" by 1".
Roll cage thickness of .065 if six hookups. Must be well gusseted. Minimum 1 1/4" OD tubing. Must be 4130 chrome moly. Complete frame .065 minimum 1" tubing may be used if wall thickness is at least .083.
All steering and suspension parts that are bolted together must use locking nuts, safety wire or cotter pins.
All cars must have a firewall to separate the motor compartment and the fuel tank from the driver. Minimum thickness .050.
The belly pan must extend from the front of the seat to the nose of the vehicle.
The steering mechanism must be constructed of a minimum of 5/8" rod and 3/8" heim ends.
Radiators must be mounted so that contact cannot be made by another car.
All cars must be equipped with nerf bars extending to at least the inside of the tire, but not beyond the outside of the tire.
Sharp, pointed edges or objects (excluding wings) will not be tolerated in cars. Only nerf bars can extend beyond the center line of the tires.
The fuel shut-off valve and the kill switch must be functional and accessible to the driver.
All wet cell batteries mounted in the cockpit must be covered and vented out of the cockpit area.
Brakes must be of sufficient strength so as to stop the wheels in the pits or stop the car while in motion while on the track.
Belt driven cars will not be allowed. Centrifugal clutches will not be permitted.
Seat belts and shoulder harness must be in good condition and race approved.
With driver seated in the car, there must be three inches of clearance between the driver's helmet and the upper roll bar.
Helmets must be approved for competition, full-face shield (Snell 95 or 2000 approved) required. All drivers are required to wear neck braces, arm restraints and fire resistant suits. Racing gloves are required.
Each car must have a workable, approved fire extinguisher in their pit area at all times.
Minimum weight of car and driver – 600 pounds. All added weight must be painted in white and have your car number on it. All added weight must be bolted with washers and lock nuts.
Wheel must be 56" minimum and 72" maximum. Car width should not exceed 58" (sidewall to sidewall).
Top wing may not exceed twelve square feet. Wing panels cannot extend over the width of the tires. Side panels must not obstruct the view of the driver and cannot extend past the center section by more than 10 inches, front or back. 24" x 54" side panel.
ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS:
Any single cylinder 250cc full production engine. Maximum of 270cc permitted. Forced air induction will not be allowed. Alcohol only. No exotic fuels or additives. Fuel tech by track officials can and will be taken.
Anything not covered in these rules will be up to the discretion of the tech or track officials, without recourse from drivers or owners. Safety infractions can be cause for a car to be kept out of competition until they have been corrected.
PROTESTS:
*All protests must be presented to the Tech Inspector within 5 minutes of the completion of the race event. At this time, if it is a complete protest, the protestor and protestee's race car will be required to be parked at the specified tech area for tech inspection. The protestor will be the first to be teched.
If protestor is illegal and protestee is legal — Protestee will receive the $100.00 protest fee.
If protestor and protestee are both illegal, the $100.00 fee will go to the points fund.
If protestor is legal and protestee is illegal, protestor will receive the $100.00 fee.
If protestor and protestee are both legal, the protestee will receive the $100.00 fee
*The protested driver must finish within two positions "ahead" of the protestor.
*If you are declared illegal on two occasions, you may be suspended from two race events. It will be at the tech person's discretion if there was the intent to cheat.
TYPES OF TECH INSPECTION:
COMPLETE — The protest must be submitted by the driver of the Micro Sprint in writing, in addition to $100 in cash (plus cost to analyze fuel, if required), which will be held in the tower until a final decision is made on the protest. Any refusal of an engine tear down by driver or owner will automatically result in the loss of total points for that event.
SIMPLIFIED — The protest must be submitted by the driver of the Micro Sprint in writing, in addition to $50.00 in cash (plus cost to analyze fuel, if required), which will be held in the tower until a final decision is made on the protest.

Go Kart Rules and Regulations
Selinsgrove Speedway/TCR, Inc.and/or officials reserve the right to reject any kart, car, driver or race team without cause or recourse. Only race cars, official equipment and one (1) authorized vehicle per racing car are permitted in the pit area during the running of the races. Any other equipment must be moved outside the track and pit area. Anyone not complying with this order will be disqualified and the car he or she is with will not be permitted to run until compliance is met. Vehicles including towing equipment, wreckers, push trucks, ATVs and all other equipment located in the pit area or restricted area are NOT covered by insurance.
Every person who enters into the pit area and racing area, or participates in competition sanctioned or promoted by Selinsgrove Speedway/TCR, Inc. does acknowledge, represent and warrant that he or she has read, understands and agrees to abide by the rules in their entirety. Application or permission to participate or enter the grounds shall constitute acceptance of the same.
Each person that enters into the pit and racing area must secure a competitor's permit for that particular race and sign the track release form in order to be eligible for track insurance benefits. Payment for the competitor's permit is required at each race. The permits are non transferable and must be displayed at all times in the pit and racing areas.
GO CART CLASS ELIGIBILITY RULES:
An updated yearly Go Cart Class list can be viewed under Go Cart classes on the website. All classes have age requirements noted on the list of classes. Age requirements must be obeyed with proof of Age if neccessary. Cut off date for age requirements determining the chosen class is: However old the driver is on the first scheduled Selinsgrove Raceway Park event.
If a driver has a birthday anytime during the current Selinsgrove Raceway Park Season schedule, he or she is allowed to race in the class that falls into that age bracket. Example: Driver turns 9 years old in September, he or she can race in the Rookie 9-12 year old division for that year. OR, since he was 8 years old when the season started, he or she can still run the Rookie 5-8 year old division. Note: once a driver has moved up a class, he or she is not permitted to drop back down to the younger class. Any special circumstances of weight issues must be brought to the attention of Charlie Paige for discussion.

Any Go Cart Driver, who wishes to advance to the next age level class, must turn that age, "Within the coming years WKA race shedule". WKA rules apply to all divisions.
Once a driver has moved up in class, they are not permitted to drop back down to a lower class. They can however, move up in class, during the season, but they may not carry over the points, from class to class.

Heat race line-ups will be determined by drawing a number for starting position. Features will be the order in which you finished the heat event.

KART SPECIFIC RULES:
All karts are subject to safety tech after the initial safety tech by track to start the season.
All numbers on karts must be large, legible and on all four sides of the kart. Letters are permitted only if they are the same size as the numbers. If the scorers cannot see or read the numbers and letters on your kart, you will not be scored.
All engines MUST be shut off prior to crossing the scales.
If you change a kart or an engine after it has already been qualified, you will automatically start on the rear of the field.
The racetrack has the right to tech (tear down) anyone at any time. If your kart is found illegal after a tear down, you will be disqualified for that day's event, and will not receive any points.
All weights must be bolted and cotter pinned, or double nutted. You will be disqualified if weight falls off while you are racing.
Working on the kart on the track is NOT permitted. The ONLY exception being, if you are trying to start your engine before one lap has been completed, or changing spark plugs. You will be given two laps to get the engine restarted.
Junior Sportsman 1 & 2 and Rookie Caged will be permitted to restart their engines three times during an event.
Complete restart until a lap has been completed, after the third try we will line up single file.
All WKA tech rules apply except for Cage karts.
Mufflers are mandatory.

GENERAL:
Any class which brings three or more karts for 50% of the seasons races will be added to the order above accordingly, and be eligible for banquet awards.
To be eligible for year-end Awards as a driver, You must compete in 65% of the races.
